A day full of writing and reading...woot!

It just FEELS like the perfect day. It is finally the weekend, and not a wintry weekend either. 41 Degrees here! This is so much different from the 10 degrees weather that the Chicago suburbs have been dealing with. The drastic change makes it feel like summer! Woo... I need to stop getting ahead of myself. Only a couple of days ago it was the first day of spring. We're not even close to the beaches, sunscreen, and swimming. But being halfway there isn't half bad... right?

What else makes this the perfect weekend, you ask? Well I am reading an amazing book. It has been awhile since I have stumbled upon one of those. The last truly good book I read was the Maze Runner, and before that was The Hunger Games. Now, I am reading The Knife of Never Letting Go, By: Patrick Ness. I am only on page 150, but it is already full of twists and turns. It is the first book in the series. I suggest you check it out.

WOOT! I am finally picking up that pencil again. I haven't been writing as much as I usually do. It just feels weird. It feels like a part of me is just sleeping, trying to claw its way out. Well I am letting it out and writing. I am working on my first book right now. I have outlined how I want it to go, how the characters are going to be, and other twists that will be throughout the book. All I can say is that it is a young adult Fiction.

I think that is all. But come on, doesn't that just equal a perfect day? I hope all of you have a great Saturday and weekend.

What genre are you writing? Any possible titles for your novel? I wish I had discovered my love for writing at your age. Keep the dream alive!

  1. Hey Ben! Sorry I haven't been on in awhile. But I am back on the blog, for good. Thank you so much for your comment! Currently, I am writing young adult dystopian fiction. As for titles, I am stumped with that, but I think it will come to me as I continue writing.

    Thanks for the inspirational words!
